Please do not misconstrue this photo as the lady is actually happy with me taking her picture. When I pointed my camera at her this was a spontaneous reaction and she carried on laughing and joking with me. This fantastic and unexpected response is what makes street photography so exciting. I walk miles with nothing to show for it and then this which makes it all so worthwhile.

Keep the old pic,s coming they are fab esp the mid late 80s early 90s so many memories of old Peterborough :-D I remember you coming in to the school at queens drive around 86 87 time by any chance do you still have any of them pic,s in your collection

Hi Neil Glad you like the pics I hope to publish some of those school images in my planned Peterborough in the eighties book.In the meantime I will try and find images with you in them. Hope you can come to the exhibition.

Yes the expression 'camera never lies' springs to mind. I felt the need to explain as I did not want viewers to think I had reduced a little elderly lady to anger with my street photography.
