My six week photography exhibition in the city museum art gallery was extremely popular and drew over fifteen thousand visitors. NINE CITY INSPIRATIONAL TOUR OF 2011. On my days off from being a paramedic and with the approval of the long suffering Mrs P I embarked on a nine city tour seeking inspiration. I felt I needed to take more images outside Peterborough and the cities included London, Brighton, Norwich, Leicester, Nottingham, Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield and York. I adopt the great New York photographer Dave Beckerman's philosophy. 'Street photography is 90% perspiration and 10% inspiration.' On these train day trips I walked for miles over many hours. I took hundreds but only a few made my website as I want you to see only the best. Look out in the Other Locations galleries where I posted my favourites. 2012 CITY TOUR. Recently inspired by Oxford, Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester and Blackpool. (seasides are great for street photography) so see the fruits of my labours under Other Locations. Check out my October Paris trip where my friend and great photographer Valerie Jardin very kindly invited me to help out on her photo workshop. I only had three days but I walked for miles and see the results in my Paris section. 2013. My year recording the life of Nene Park left me little time but I managed to squeeze in the day job, my local streets, London, Berlin, Amsterdam and the amazing Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 2014 . I am busy on my next book two which will be dedicated to my then and now reunion pictures. NEW ENGLAND' As for my dream of a book on street photography ' New England' was published on December 8 th 2012. It is hardback and contains around a hundred and seventy of my favourite pictures from the late seventies and early eighties. Doing well with Tate Modern and the V&A stocking it in their bookshops. Thank you so much Dominic of http://www.piersanddominic.com/ who has turned my dream into reality. Also many thanks to Martyn of http://www.northlightmedia.co.uk/ who created this beautiful website. They have been so generous with their time and I am immensely grateful. 2015. Got off to a good start with many of my images appearing in a five year installation at London Luton airport. In April I was inspired by Madrid and Venice and the latter was my favourite of al the cities I visited in my European tour. No cars was a lot to do with it!
