I was wandering around Borough Market in London  and spotted this great character. On asking his name he replied Lord Lucan!  Which does his Lordship look best in, colour or black and white?

Chris ,
I prefer the colour picture myself,it captures the vibrancy of the character. He is obviously a colourful character & the Black and White tends to lose this in it.Only my opinion though!

I prefer the colour version. He looks reasonably happy - maybe black and white would suit a more melancholy pic.

Well, colour is good - he looks like a modern day Father Christmas, but to me mono speaks much more, it makes me try to read his eyes and think about how life has treated him up to now..

I prefer the colour version. In it my eyes are drawn to the face. The character within the face is more defined to me.
In the colour version my eyes are attracted to the vibrant red.
Great shot, wish I had the nerve to approach strangers in the street.

Colour here as well, very vibrant and the eyes are excellent. Like Ray wish I had the nerve.

Hi Chris,
I have to say B&W. It accentuates his weathered face and beard even more.

Hi Chris,

The B+W does it for me, more mystical, wiser but less old. Great shot.

I prefer colour too as he reminds me of Santa and Lord Lucan of course.
